Volunteers

We always welcome volunteers in school to help us with trips, special activities, reading or outdoor learning.  Having so many willing volunteers enables us to complete a broader range of activities as well as supporting those children who benefit from regular one-to-one reading. Volunteering in school can also inspire some to pursue a career as a Teaching Assistant or even a Teacher.

To become a volunteer in school simply pop in or contact the Head Teacher who will be only too happy to discuss the possibilities.  Please be aware that due to Safeguarding legislation, all people willing to volunteer on a regular basis in school will need to have a DBS check which the school will carry out.
