Collective Worship

Collective Worship is an integral part of our school day and we meet together, either as a whole school or in smaller groups, daily. We base all we do on our school vision and mission statements and our chosen Bible verse, which encompasses both –

Inspiring success through Learning, Community and Strength.

We use our Christian values to help our children make good choices. We help each child to be the best that they can be, in all areas of life, because they are all very special. We teach the children many things in lots of different ways. We use our local community to help them live in, and love, God’s amazing world.

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me – Philippians 4:13

Our Worship Team help shape our Worship; planning and leading some Worship times.

Pete Barfoot (Governor) and Rev Emma lead Worships in school regularly and we also take part in services at St John’s Church.

We focus on our Christian Values and aspects from the Blackburn Diocese RE curriculum each week, linking in relevant songs, hymns and Bible readings.
